DIEGO COSTA

Diego da Silva Costa is a Brazilian footballer, although he has Spanish nationality too. He plays forward and his current team is the Atletico de Madrid of first Division of Spain

Diego Costa signed his first professional contract with SC Braga from which he signed for Atlético de Madrid in 2006. He played ceded in Peñafiel, SC Braga, Celtic of Vigo, Albacete, Valladolid and Rayo Vallecano. He was proclaimed champion of the UEFA Super Cup in 2010 and 2012 and the Football Cup in 2013 with Atlético de Madrid.

His performances with the Atletico club season 2012/13 led him to debut with the Brazilian national team on March 21, 2013 and played two friendlies. He didn’t play any official match for the Brazilian national team and he has Spanish nationality he was summoned with the Spanish in November 2013 team though an injury prevented him from his debut. Finally, he returned to be convened in March 2014 and made his debut with the Spanish national team.
