MY GRANDMOTHER

My grandmother was born on 20th April 1941. She grew up in Almuñecar, but at the age of 13 she came to Granada to study. A few years later she met my grandfather, and then, they started to go out together. They got married in 1963.

Now, I can´t remember her, because she died when I was 3 years old, but my mother has shown me some photos, she was really beautiful, she had blue eyes and short curly brown hair. My mother tells me that she was cheerful, friendly, understanding, patient…

Unfortunately, I didn´t have the opportunity to speak to her about my problems, but I am proud to be her granddaughter.
